Eph429

About me

I am a Christian who likes to code and blog and think. I like writing about the Bible, coding and any other topic that interests me.

Why the name?

My favorite verse is Ephesians 4:29

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. (NIV)

“I know the resurrection is a fact, and Watergate proved it to me. How? Because 12 men testified they had seen Jesus raised from the dead, then they proclaimed that truth for 40 years, never once denying it. Every one was beaten, tortured, stoned and put in prison. They would not have endured that if it weren’t true. Watergate embroiled 12 of the most powerful men in the world-and they couldn’t keep a lie for three weeks. You’re telling me 12 apostles could keep a lie for 40 years? Absolutely impossible.”

Random stuff

You can read some of my ChatGPT Conversations. I find them entertaining.

Here's a script to extract a ChatGPT conversation
console.log(
  [...document.querySelectorAll(".whitespace-pre-wrap")].map((v) =>
    v.querySelector(".markdown") ?? v
  ).map((
    v,
    i,
  ) => (i % 2 === 0
    ? "<p><b>Me: </b>" + v.innerHTML
    : "<p><b>ChatGPT: </b>" + v.innerHTML.slice(3))
  ).join("\n\n"),
);
Run this command and paste any HTML and press `ctrl+d` and it will convert it to markdown.
pandoc -f html -t markdown -o output.md
